About the studio
The calligraphy studio in Zurich is dedicated to preserving the art of the handwritten letter through traditional calligraphy and a contemporary artistic approach. Our work is based on historical techniques and authentic materials, with a special emphasis on parchment, natural pigments, and gilding.
By merging traditional calligraphy with contemporary graphic design, we create artistic, personalized, and design-focused works in which the handwritten letter plays a central role.
Dušan Mišić
Caligrapher & Graphic Designer
Dušan Mišić is a calligrapher and author with over fifteen years of experience in both traditional and contemporary calligraphy. His work represents a contemporary artistic and artisanal reconstruction of medieval manuscript art, executed exclusively by using authentic materials and techniques.
He lives and works in Zurich, Switzerland, and his pieces of art are held both in private and institutional collections worldwide.

Our work is based on an authentic, entirely handmade process inspired by the techniques of medieval scribes. Each piece is created through a slow and deliberate process, aiming to achieve enduring artistic and cultural value.

Hand-tanned goatskin, the most durable historical writing surface.
